The next Am/Am on behalf of charity The winners enjoy the Magdalene Cup for a year and each team member receives a medal. Report on 2007 Am/Am Tournament -
It was very very close but the winners were as follows:-
St Magdalene Cup Winners: Dean Engineering Ltd
2 nd : Greenkeepers Lot 3 rd : H & S Henderson (Playground Construction)
How close? Listen carefully - I will say this only once!
The three teams came in each with a total of 118. In the event of scores being equal we calculate the winner over the back nine inward scores and on this occasion the winners had 62 strokes on the back nine as opposed to 64 for the second placed team and 66 for the third team. See? Simple, isn't it!
