Linlithgow Civic Week

Fiddlers Rally - 10th June 2009

The Fiddlers Rally has been running now for Twelve years and has entertained many thousands of people as well as raising Thousands of pounds for local Charities. Every year more than 50 musicians take part in our Fiddlers Rally held during the town's Civic Week. The musicians give their talents free.

After all the expenses are paid, the remainder of the monies raised goes to charity. Some of the charities are local and some outwith the District.

This event is a high profile activity to allow Rotary to be kept in the public eye. We also use the event to disburse the money we raise throughout the year. We invite the beneficiaries to come along to be presented with a cheque.

In the past we have supported the local Abbeyfield Home as well as Brae Court, a local sheltered housing complex, the local Pensioners Association and CHAS - Rachel House - the Children's Hospice based in Kinross in Fife.

This event has proved so popular that we get people asking when the tickets are going on sale for the next year. Watch this page for more information nearer the time.
